Brittany Bunce

Brittany is a RYT Yoga Alliance certified teacher. She completed her yoga teacher training courses in India, in Vinyasa Flow (RYT 200) and Yin Yoga (RYT 100) at Trimurti Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa at Abhinam Yoga (RYT 30). Her journey with yoga started in 2003 and it was love at first sight, but she truly fell head over heels on her first trip to India in 2007, studying and practicing yoga. Since then she has returned to India several times. She takes classes, trainings and workshops with teachers all over the world whenever she can- the teacher is forever a student. From a young age she was drawn to spirituality and has taken courses in Transcendental Meditation, Reiki, studied yoga philosophy, Buddhism and attended retreats and trainings in various spiritual and healing modalities.

She teaches mindful Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga and Yin Yang classes, interwoven with a passion for yoga philosophy, which she brings to the themes of her classes. Yin Yoga targets our joints and connective tissue (especially fascia) and stimulates the subtle body- known as meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic form of yoga that focuses on connecting breath with movement, building strength and flexibility and importantly finding peace of mind through a moving meditation. Yin Yang classes bring together the benefits of passively holding yoga poses in Yin Yoga with more dynamic sequences of styles such as Vinyasa Flow. Brittany’s classes explore the balance between strength and surrender and the beautiful potential of the body/mind/soul connection. She places importance on teaching yoga safely by offering alternatives that respect our unique anatomy and by encouraging her students to move mindfully and cultivate body awareness and respect ॐ
